Some engagement sessions are about choosing the perfect spot and settling in. This one was about movement. For Haylee and Hunter, we decided to do something a little different. Instead of anchoring ourselves to one location, we picked a starting point and let the afternoon unfold from there. No rigid plan. No rushing. Just walking, talking, and paying attention to what we found along the way.
As we moved through the city, Atlanta revealed itself in layers. Quiet corners, grand architecture, pockets of light, and moments that felt completely unplanned but perfectly timed. The beauty of a walkabout session is that it leaves room for discovery. It allows the experience to feel natural, relaxed, and very much lived in. The city becomes part of the story rather than just a backdrop.
For Haylee and Hunter, this approach felt right. It mirrored how they move through the world together. Curious, connected, and present. Sometimes the most meaningful sessions aren’t about going far or doing more. They’re about slowing down, staying open, and trusting that the best moments often happen in between.
