the Wedding EXPERIENCE

What actually MATTERS

The relationship you build with your photographer doesn't just shape your experience. It shapes every photograph you take home.

I'll be there through the excitement of getting ready, the quiet moments before the ceremony, family hugs, the dance floor, and everything in between. That's why I believe choosing your photographer is about so much more than loving a portfolio. It's about finding someone you trust enough to be fully present on one of the biggest days of your life.

This page will walk you through exactly what it's like to work with me, from your very first inquiry to the moment your gallery arrives.

THE PROCESS

Choosing your wedding photographer is one of the biggest decisions you'll make throughout your wedding planning journey.

This season is filled with celebration, anticipation, and unforgettable moments with the people you love most. Every engagement, every planning milestone, and eventually your wedding day all become part of a much bigger story.

My goal is simply to document it honestly, beautifully, and in a way that always feels true to you.

Congratulations. You're about to experience one of the most exciting seasons of your life. It deserves to be enjoyed.

“From the moment we met him, he felt like family.

“He was not only our photographer, but a guide and grounding presence.

“The best decision we made was choosing Todd.”

Every wedding begins with a simple conversation. Tell me a little about yourselves, your wedding, and what you're planning.

Once I receive your inquiry, I'll personally review everything and send over a link to schedule a time for us to chat.

From here, I’m in your corner. I’ll stay involved throughout the planning process, answer questions as they come up, and help shape the photography around what matters most to you.

There’s a big difference between meeting your photographer and actually being photographed by them. This session gives you that experience before the wedding day, so nothing about the process feels new when it matters most.

As the wedding gets closer, we’ll bring everything together. I’ll review the timeline, family photographs, traditions, and anything else that matters to you, while coordinating with your planner so everyone is working from the same plan.

From the moment we met Todd, we knew we were in the best hands. His calming presence and eye for emotion made our wedding day unforgettable. He made sure to capture every meaningful moment, especially the ones with my grandpa who passed away just weeks after our wedding.

Questions

frequently asked

DO WE NEED TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT BEFORE WE REACH OUT?

Not at all. Most couples reach out with a date, a venue, and a handful of ideas. Everything else is something we can build together.

In fact, I encourage couples to reach out sooner rather than later. It gives us more time to get to know one another, gives you the best chance of securing your date, and allows your photography to become a thoughtful part of your wedding plans instead of a last-minute decision.

HOW DO WE KNOW IF WE'RE THE RIGHT FIT?

That's exactly what our first conversation is for. We'll spend time talking about your wedding, what's most important to you, and the kind of experience you're hoping to create. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions, and by the end of our conversation we'll both know whether we're the right fit.

WE'RE A LITTLE NERVOUS IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA.

Almost everyone says that. The good news is you don't need to know what to do. That's my job. I'll give direction when it's helpful, step back when the moment deserves it, and never ask you to become someone you're not. By the end of the day, most couples tell me they forgot they were even being photographed.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE REACH OUT?

Most couples reach out anywhere from eight to eighteen months before their wedding, especially for spring and fall dates. If your date is already set, I'd encourage you to inquire sooner rather than later. Even if I'm unavailable, I'm always happy to point you toward photographers I trust.

DO YOU WORK WITH WEDDING PLANNERS?

Absolutely. Whether you've hired a full-service planner, a month-of coordinator, or you're planning everything yourselves, my role is to support the celebration you've envisioned.

If you're working with a planner, we'll collaborate throughout the planning process so everything flows naturally on the wedding day. My goal is to make their job easier, not harder.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

Love to travel for weddings! I photograph weddings throughout the United States and am always excited to celebrate wherever my couples' story takes them.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

You'll receive a handful of preview images within a week so you don't have to wait long to relive the celebration. Your full gallery is carefully edited and beautifully organized and typically delivered within six to eight weeks.

Once you've had time to fall in love with your photographs, I'll help you preserve them through handcrafted albums and fine art pieces designed to become part of your family's story.
