For one year, I step beyond the wedding day to document this chapter of your life as it actually unfolds.
The moment you find the dress. The celebration after you say yes. A weekend away with your closest friends. Time with your family. The places you travel together. The quiet moments at home that don’t seem important enough to photograph until, one day, they are.
Some will be moments you’ve planned for months. Others will be moments you simply don’t want to forget.
Because this season of your life only happens once. And while your wedding will be photographed from beginning to end, so much of what makes that day meaningful happens long before you ever walk down the aisle.
Solstice exists to preserve those moments, too.

how do we decide what gets documented?
We begin with what you already know about the year ahead and build from there. Some moments may be planned months in advance. Others will reveal themselves along the way.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
Because Solstice is limited to just two commissions each year, I recommend beginning the conversation as early as possible. Once both commissions have been reserved, Solstice is closed for that year.
can solstice take us anywhere?
Absolutely. Solstice was created with travel in mind. Whether that means joining you in New York for the moment you find the dress, a weekend with friends in Mexico, or meeting you halfway around the world on your honeymoon, distance doesn’t change what’s possible.
WHAT DOES SOLSTICE INCLUDE?
Solstice isn’t built around a predetermined shot list or number of events. It’s shaped around you, the year ahead, and the moments you want to remember.
Some of those moments may already be on the calendar. Others won’t reveal themselves until you’re living them. Maybe it’s the second you realize you’ve found the dress. A trip with your closest friends. Your parents seeing you before the wedding. A place that means something to the two of you. Or simply a piece of ordinary life during a year that is anything but ordinary.
